International Culture Night is an event open to the community and sponsored by 推荐正规买球平台 and El Refugio, a nonprofit organization that provides language and citizenship classes, family enrichment activities, legal information, and resource connections. International Culture Night highlights the variety of cultures in our community, especially those that are represented by students in the ESL program.  This event is a platform to exchange knowledge, showcase our community's diverse cultures, embrace the spirit of international cooperation, and discover new traditions and cuisine.

Students will learn about the resources they can ue to establish a transfer network before they even step foot on campus! 

The Career Expo will introduce middle and high school students to universities and colleges. The Expo will also include employers, so that students may explore different career options that might be of interest in the future. The Expo will start at 10 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m.

The Job Fair is for employers who are currently hiring individuals interested in seeking a career change – and for job seekers. Everyone in the community is welcome to attend. The Job Fair will begin at 2 p.m. and end at 6 p.m.

推荐正规买球平台's ACES (Academic and Cultural Enrichment Series) is pleased to be co-hosting a free documentary film screening of short film Bulls and Saints for our college and the general public on Thursday, March 14th from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Dennis Wicker Center. 

Attached are bilingual versions of the event flyer for the film screening, reception, and panel with the filmmaker and community stakeholders. They will discuss opportunities and challenges for Latinx communities.

Learn from Tania Allen, Associaten Professor of Art + Design and Co-Director of Co-Lab: Mapping as Critical Research Tool at North Carolina State University, about the artistic and narrative form of critical mapping. The audience will be introduced to the concept of critical mapping and given the opportunity to create their own maps in a hands-on activity. This 45-minute lecture is followed by a hands-on 45-minute workshop for participants. This event is a unique learning opportunity for school and community audiences. Supplies will be provided. This project was made possible through partnership with Harnett County and funding from the North Carolina Arts Council.
